Member of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, a member of the working group of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia on the preparation of a methodology for assessing the current market value of mineral and energy resources and changing them; Member of the working group of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia on developing approaches to the evaluation of uncultivated biological resources.
Professional interests: (1) Improvement of the methodology of interdisciplinary ecological-socio-economic and geographic research to solve urgent problems of interaction in the system of relations "Nature - Society - Human", as well as institutional analysis of environmental changes; (2) integrated use and protection of natural resources, development and implementation of environmental programs and plans, environmental and economic indicators, taking into account the socio-cultural factor; (3) the circle of problems connected with the transition of the industrial economy to the stage of green growth with an orientation toward sustainable development; (4) improvement of the methodology for the economic evaluation of natural resources and ecosystem services; (5) improvement of indicators of sustainable development, environmental indicators and indicators of the green economy, the system of national accounting and environmental-economic accounting, as well as methods for their mapping.
Participant in international projects ROLL, UNDP, GEF, RREC, WWF.
Author of over 90 scientific works published in Russia and abroad.
