Report on the State and Protection of the Environment of the Yaroslavl Region in 2012

The report is a scientific periodical which includes objective systematic information on the ecological state of the environment in the Yaroslavl region, aimed to promote the development and implementation of the state policy in the field of environmental development in the region, identify priority areas for authorities, aimed at preventing and reducing the negative impact on the environment. The materials of the Report contribute to increasing the transparency of the activities of the authorities, as well as informing the public about the measures taken to improve the environmental situation in the region.

This edition of the Report most fully discloses information reflecting the problems of production and consumption wastes that, in the light of the transition from the brown economy to green economy, are transformed into the concept of life cycle, which involves reuse of waste, energy generation through waste disposal and clean waste disposal.
